1. Understand the Problem
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God;” (Romans 3:23, CSB)
- All have sinned
“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 6:23, CSB)
- The cost of sin is separation from God
2. Know the Solution
“But God proves his own love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8, CSB)
- Jesus died for sinners
“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 6:23, CSB)
- Jesus provides the gift of Life
“For if, while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, then how much more, having been reconciled, will we be saved by his life.” (Romans 5:10, CSB)
3. Embrace the ___Savior__
“If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. One believes with the heart, resulting in righteousness, and one confesses with the mouth, resulting in salvation.” (Romans 10:9–10, CSB)
- We must believe by faith and confess with our mouths.
Our Worship Gatherings are centered around four main values.
1. Celebration
- We believe church should be enjoyable.
“I rejoiced with those who said to me, “Let’s go to the house of the Lord.”” (Psalm 122:1, CSB)
2. Inspiration
- We believe church should be a place where people experience God’s presence.
“For where two or three are gathered together in my name, I am there among them.”” (Matthew 18:20, CSB)
3. Preparation
- We believe church should be a place where people learn how the Bible applies to their lives.
“But be doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.” (James 1:22, CSB)
4. Salvation
- We believe church should be a place where people can accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
“Every day they devoted themselves to meeting together in the temple, and broke bread from house to house. They ate their food with joyful and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. Every day the Lord added to their number those who were being saved.” (Acts 2:46–47, CSB)
